{Quasi Movie-Commentary: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band}

Now that was weird...

I just had the pleasure (?) of watching this movie.
It was...very odd. Here are some things that ran through my head as I watched:

~ Oh, snap! This is WEIRD! I kinda like it, but can't really decide, and in no way can I tear my eyes from the screen!
~ Oh! It's Covers of Beatles music! Thank god. I'm not sure how I'd feel about hearing them perform the music themselves (personal reasons)...this, however, this is tolerable.
~ Huh. No dialogue. Okay. I think I get it? (Oh, nope, I totally don't get it. This is waaaaaaaaay over my head. I'm so not cool enough to fully appreciate this.)
~ This must parallel & play on The Beatles' real lives? I'm so confused...
~ Wow. How is it that 70s/80s women were so freakin' sexy? Oh, right. They were real. Dolled up, without a doubt, but organic with no preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup, and no "natural flavors." Yummy!
~ I love that song so much, and am gonna learn to play it.
~ etc.

In the end, I'm glad I finally got to watch this movie.
