MOVIE REVIEW: Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation

STAR STAR STAR STAR 1/4

TOM: [SLAPPING PRODUCER ON BACK 1X] It's time.
PRODUCER: Ohmyjeezus! Where'd you come from? Tom, don't sneak up on me like that! You scared the crap out of me!
TOM: [CLAPPING HANDS 4X] You know what we need to do. Let's go, people.
[TOM EXITS]
SIMON: [under his breath to the writer] Wow. He's not messing around, is he? Wait, is this a comedy?
WRITER: Nope.  All business. Makes audiences want to learn to race motorcycles & do anything but watch TV with their spare time.
SIMON: Right!? But can Tom do comedy? I mean, is it appropriate for Mission Impossible?
TOM: [COMING OUT OF NOWHERE, AND SLAPPING SIMON ON BACKSIDE] Simon. Trust me. This is gonna sell. I want it funny, that's why you're here - and with a strong female lead my daughter will want to emulate. And Simon?
SIMON: [PEES PANTS SO STARTLED] Um, yeah, Tom?
TOM: Shut up, Simon.

Star Wars hats contd.

[  ] yes     [  ] no

Confession with NO PICTURES. Words only.

You know what quality I like in a friend? It's this: I like it when I can be myself - silly, idiot-like, mistake-making, weirdness & all - and they'll help find a way to allow me to expose my unknown vulnerabilities. And then, instead of judging, or beating me down for them, they accept me, lift me up, slap me on the ass, and leave me stronger and better-off for knowing.

Now, while that statement was very un-AC/DC of me; you know, not pure, simple, awesome like they are (which, by the way, HOLY S*** THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING CONCERT PRODUCTION I'VE EVER SEEN! Oh...my...god!! Those guys ROCK!  No dialogue, nothing on the stage [most of the time, except for the Thunderstruck bell, and the giant fat lady blow up], amazing lighting, genius use of color, unbelievable timing, fantastic energy, insane music, great videography, I could go on & on & on..fine. Here's a few pictures!!! :) even from the nosebleeds it was AWESOME!!! )

I love this view

Note: will work on getting back to the movie reviews (as requested).

Oh, and Anna: Re "Ant Man": just the conclusion, you ask? It was surprisingly amusing and self-aware in its cheekiness. Funny stuff. Maybe not worth paying full price to see on the big screen, but still fun. Cinema-pub-worthy for sure. Take a date. Yeah, a platonic friend would be perfect. (Not a sexy movie at all.)

What am I doing up at 3am? I have no effing idea! Come back to bed! (She said to herself.)
